Therapy can…
- Take time to untangle the threads of your distress but with patience, perseverance and practice, therapy can be transformative.
- Be challenging in many different ways but you will be supported throughout this journey; I can be alongside you to help you manage difficult emotions and memories, and together we can identify the kind of support you may need outside of the session.
- Have different outcomes for different people as process and capacity to change is very individual.
- Help you to see the bigger picture, to put things into perspective and make links between the past and present, to help make sense of the complexities and nuance of your life.
The presenting issues I work with include:
- Anxiety including generalised, social, separation and panic attacks;
- Depression including major/persistent, Seasonal Affective Disorder;
- Suicidal ideation and/or self-harm;
